Aller Tourist Train: four routes across the valley
The Aller Tourist Train has become one of the valley's summer experiences. Its sixth edition ran from 1 to 30 August 2026 with four routes. The 2026 season is over, but the itineraries remain a useful introduction to Aller.
In 2026 Aller Town Council brought the tourist train back for a sixth consecutive summer, with four routes designed to introduce visitors to the municipality's landscapes, villages and cultural heritage.

Four routes for discovering Aller
The 2026 edition linked Moreda with Murias through the Río Negro valley; Cabañaquinta with Uriés; Felechosa with Casomera via Col.lanzo; and L’Escuyu with Alto de Coto Bello.
The idea is not simply transport: the journey itself introduces different parts of Aller and its natural and cultural heritage.
The Río Negro valley
One 2026 route travelled from Moreda to Murias through the Río Negro valley, with Murias also providing access to the Xurbeo waterfall walk.
La Fuente de la Quintana is in Santibáñez de Murias, in the same valley, making the area a useful base for exploring Aller.
A well-established summer experience
The 2026 season was the train's sixth consecutive edition. Aller Town Council described it as one of the municipality's most appreciated summer activities and a way to promote its natural and cultural heritage.
After the season ended, LA NUEVA ESPAÑA published a specific report on 2 September 2026 about the initiative's success.
How the 2026 edition worked
The service ran from 1 to 30 August 2026. A return ticket cost €2, children under 6 travelled free, and only the Coto Bello route required advance booking.
These details apply only to 2026. Check the official source before planning a future edition.
